Sending
Helix sends the first-touch emails you queue. It does not read your inbox, and it does not keep writing after someone replies.
Connect a mailbox
In Settings, open Sending and connect Gmail. The permission Helix requests is send-only. Tokens are stored encrypted. Disconnecting the mailbox revokes the permission and deletes the tokens.
Access cannot connect a mailbox. Start includes 2 mailboxes. Premium includes 4. Sending itself does not spend Strands.
The daily cap
Start sends at most 18 new first-touch emails a day. Premium sends at most 36. You can lower the cap in settings. You cannot raise it past the plan. The cap exists so a week of meetings does not burn the domain.
Warmup and replies
After you connect a mailbox, warmup runs in the background for about two weeks. You stay in Helix. When a message is sent, bounces, is unsubscribed, or gets a reply, the lead’s place in the pipeline updates. A reply stops further mail to that contact.
An AI client can write and edit drafts. It cannot send. Sending stays in the app, on purpose.
